Angela Shah
(she/her)

Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC)

As someone considering therapy, you may be going through something in your life that feels like you can't share it with anyone else; a feeling that can be lonely, overwhelming, and confusing. Perhaps there have been changes that you yourself are still trying to navigate and understand, whether it's a positive change or a negative one, it's still a change that can turn your world upside down! Learning to navigate the trials of life can be challenging because of the ways we have to learn how to cope, address, and respond to new stressors.

I use a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Attachment-Based Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Gestalt Therapy. Together, we will work on developing a treatment that best fits your needs and is in line with evidence-based practices that can aid in processing grief, exploring your relationship with your emotions, navigating relationships with others and even yourself, and exploring your experiences within life and death.

As a therapist interested in grief and death work, I work with client’s that are willing to explore their experiences with death, including suicide, change of identity, and loss in general. Just as it’s a privilege for me to sit with you in life, I will sit with you on the edge of death with compassion, curiosity, and patience.

I look forward to the opportunity to be your therapist! I will be providing sessions In-Person and Telehealth as a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate, meaning that I am under supervision and working towards my full licensure in Colorado. Thank you for your time and I hope you have a great day!
