Therapist, Social Work Candidate (SWC)
My therapy approach emphasizes conscious presence, radical acceptance, and deep listening, allowing you to feel truly seen and supported as you navigate life’s challenges. I believe therapy is not about fixing, but about walking alongside you as you explore your own unique path of growth and healing. I integrate person-centered Rogerian approaches, Buddhist psychology, and concepts from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to create a therapeutic relationship grounded in kindness, compassion, and authenticity.
Central to my work is cultivating self-compassion and self-acceptance. By fostering an environment of openness and non-judgment, I help you learn to relate to yourself with greater kindness and gentleness. Drawing on my own meditation practice, I weave mindfulness and contemplative awareness into the therapy space, supporting you in cultivating resilience, personal growth, and deeper self-connection. My approach is collaborative and client-centered, always honoring your inherent wisdom and capacity for growth.
Whether you’re navigating life transitions, seeking support with stress, wishing to deepen your relationships, or gain greater self-understanding, your work with me will be rooted in compassion, curiosity, and respect for your inner wisdom. I speak Spanish fluently and enjoy working with both English- and Spanish-speaking clients.
Education:

Fun Facts:
I’ve lived for extended periods of time in Rwanda, Mexico, Senegal, Costa Rica, and Argentina. I greatly value the wisdom that can be learned from other cultures and love learning new languages!
I find I am most connected to myself when I am outside in any natural setting. I love hiking, swimming, and just sitting outside in green spaces whenever possible.
Music has been a big part of my life ever since I can remember – my parents have told me that I was humming long before I started talking! I enjoy singing, playing the piano, guitar, and saxophone, and listening to all kinds of music.
