Madison strives to create a warm, comfortable, and dynamic space for clients to express themselves and feel validated in their experiences.
Madison is passionate about working with individuals, couples, and families who have sustained varying degrees of trauma and practices various frameworks/modalities, including family systems and narrative therapy, to support clients in their healing process. Madison’s focus is on the internal and external systems that influence human experience and specializes in topics of domestic violence, anxiety, depression, relationships, and other aspects of privilege, power, and oppression. Madison is embracing of all clients and their histories and is thoughtful in her approach to collaboration and person-centered interventions so that her clients have meaningful therapeutic experiences

Describe the clients you best serve:
“I serve those who have survived domestic violence and other traumatic events, who uncover their resiliency through meaningful therapeutic work. I also specialize in working with those struggling with substance consumption, anxiety, and depression disorders.”
Why are you passionate about mental health?
“I became a therapist because I am passionate about working with individuals, couples, and families who have sustained varying degrees of trauma. There is no feeling more special that witnessing the passion and strength inherent in human beings.”
What is your favorite book to recommend to clients?
“My favorite book is Attached by Amir Levin. This book is the beginner's AND expert's guide to attachment and how we come to understand ourselves in relationship with others.”
What do you like to do when you’re not in client sessions?
“In my free time, I enjoy reading, dancing, yoga, cooking, and cuddling with my cat-baby. I also love to travel and thrift shop!”
How would you describe your unique approach with clients?
“I view my clients as experts in their own lives while working together in collaboration as clients pursue their own growth. I am certain in my belief that each clients holds inherent strengths and capabilities that are called upon throughout their healing. I so treasure the experience of learning from my clients and working alongside them as they create goals and meaningful understanding in each therapy session.”
What have you learned through your own mental health journey?
“Throughout my own mental health journey, I felt the importance and human need for connection. As a client myself, I thrive off the collaboration and community that is present within the empathetic and unconditional support of a therapist. It always feels good to be seen.”
