Meet Rachel Wilkinson
Rachel Wilkinson
(she/her)
Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate
Rachel believes that therapy is most powerful when it meets you exactly where you are, when it feels human, collaborative, and grounded in genuine understanding. She recognizes that finding tools that actually fit your unique mind can be challenging, especially if traditional approaches have felt mismatched or invalidating. Her work centers on helping clients develop creative, practical strategies that honor who they are, not who they think they should be.
Drawing from relational, attachment-focused, and psychodynamic foundations, Rachel integrates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), emotion-focused, and parts work approaches to support clients in cultivating awareness, self-compassion, and balance. Her style invites exploration of the inner world, including how early experiences, internalized beliefs, and identity all shape how we relate to ourselves and others in the present.
Rachel has a particular passion for working with neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ individuals and is dedicated to creating a space that feels inclusive, affirming, and curious. Through an anti-oppressive and trauma-informed lens, she helps clients untangle the impact of cultural messages, systemic barriers, and self-criticism, making room for authenticity and growth.
In therapy, Rachel values warmth, presence, and curiosity. She strives to create a space where clients feel deeply seen and supported as they reconnect with themselves, rediscover their strengths, and move toward a life that feels more grounded, intentional, and in tune with themselves.
